Academic Eligibility


Educational Qualification:


• HSC exam or any equivalent exam should be completed by the applicant from a recognized board or university.
• One must have completed the GNM course from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
Age criteria:
• Official authorities have decided that the upper age limit for the applicants to apply for the admission procedure is not more than 45 years at the time of admission.
• However, service applicants should be below the age of 49 years at the time of admission.
Qualifying marks:
• General category applicants should score more than 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
• However, reserved category applicants should score a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying exam.
Qualifying subject:
• Physics and chemistry should be compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam, along with biology as an optional
Medical fitness:
• One should be medically fit.
Registration:
• A registered nurse or registered midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council is only eligible.
Domicile:
• Only those applicants are eligible to apply who reside in the state of Kerala.
